Hello, my name is Makenna!
I am a pediatric occupational therapist and believe that children thrive when therapy honors who they are, builds on their strengths, and supports the family as a whole. My approach is child-led, relationship-based, and grounded in creating meaningful opportunities for growth, confidence, and participation in everyday life.

I hold a Master’s in Occupational Therapy from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri, and have over 8 years of experience in pediatrics, including early intervention, private practice, and nature-based therapy. During the pandemic, I transitioned to teletherapy and discovered a passion for working alongside parents and caregivers through a coaching-centered model. I am now certified in parent coaching through the Function First Coach Approach, with additional training in DIR/Floortime and the SOS Approach to Feeding. I approach my work holistically, partnering with families in a thoughtful and family-centered way to support daily life and long-term growth.
